SWING SET by Bryan Jerabek
Bryan Jerabek took this photograph on his uncle-in-law's organic, grass-fed cattle farm in Wisconsin. For a week every summer, Bryan and his family stay at the farm, passing their days sitting by the river and eating ice cream. Last summer, Bryan noticed this swing set sitting in the tall grass just beyond the garden. As the children grew up and stopped playing with it, the lack of love slowly turned it into what Bryan calls a "sad monument to long lost childhood." Soon enough, the set may undergo a makeover - Bryan's uncle-in-law plans to restore it for his first grandson.

Bryan lives in southeastern Milwaukee with his wife, Kim, their daughter Annalee and their cat named Squirrel. He grew up in Clinton, Michigan, a small country town an hour and a half west of Detroit where he spent his youth exploring the woods and sneaking into old barns. Bryan studied at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for two years before leaving to go on tour.
