CARNIVAL, #6 by David Arnoux
David Arnoux captured these scenes in Paris at Le Grand Palais during a temporary carnival festival. David remembers “I left early Saturday morning to get there before the hustle and bustle. I had been shooting black and white for the past year and decided I needed a change.” To give he images to a 1960s feel, he used an old Nikkormat FT and grainy high-iso film.

David split his youth between Marseilles, France, Manchester, England and Philadelphia. He now lives in both Paris and Shanghai. He is a part time photojournalist, most recently traveling to Iceland to report on its youth. David also shoots portraits for a French webzine called Gonzai.
